Your poster is one slide using wide screen format in powerpoint and saved in either jpg or pdf file. Pixel size is 1920 pixels wide by 1080 pixels tall.
AV Canada is our audiovisual provider and will accept and handle all presentations. If you run into any issues, please contact Zaman (zaman.i@AV-Canada.com).
Create your poster in powerpoint using wide screen format. Please refer to this template for your poster or oral presentation.
File Types:
Acceptable formats: PDF, PowerPoint (.ppt/.pptx), or JPEG/PNG images.
Ensure the file is in a universally accessible format (PDF is preferred for final submissions).
File Naming:
Use clear, descriptive filenames.
Format: [Last Name]_[First Name]_Poster_Title (e.g.,Smith_John_GenomicResearchPoster).
Avoid special characters like spaces, slashes, or punctuation.
Keep the name concise but informative.
File Size:
PDFs: Maximum size of 10 MB.
PowerPoint: Typically limited to 15 MB, but confirm with event organizers.
Image Files (JPEG/PNG): Maximum size of 5-10 MB to ensure optimal quality without slow loading times.
Resolution:
For images: Use high-resolution (300 dpi) for clarity and professional appearance.
For PDF documents: Maintain high-quality images and graphics for readability.
Content:
Ensure the poster is visually clear, with text large enough to be legible from a distance.
Follow the provided dimensions or template for the conference.
Deadlines to upload: Thursday August 14, 2025
Submit your content before the specified deadline to avoid last-minute issues.
